Eat, Feel, Create – Exploring the intersections of youth mental health and food issues

February 4, 2019 | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Join the TYFPC for an evening of art, food, and discussion on the intersections of youth mental health and food.

The first part of the evening will consist of a conversation with community workers and organizers involved in food and mental health programs.

The second part of the evening will be an offering of creative activities including: making a zine exploring the nuance, beauty, and complexity of self care; a collaborative mandala mural; and a seed planting activity.

Through conversation and creativity, we will dive into the very multifaceted reality of youth mental health and how it is related to food, food insecurity, bodies, nutrition, and more.

There will be a free and delicious dinner catered by The Raging Spoon for event attendees.

This event is BYOC: Bring Your Own CONTAINER (and utensil)!
