YMHC’s Mental Wellness Community Fair

FreeYouth Mental Health Canada will be holding a 2 day Mental Wellness Community Fair: Friday, August 16 at City Hall and Saturday, August 17 at George Brown College Waterfront Campus, 51 Dockside Drive beside Sugar Beach. We will have activites, information and fun for all ages: 60 workshops at GBC, information tables, interactive activities, DIY workshops, Dance Fire, yoga, meditation, films, music and much more!
We are bringing mental health and wellness into the community to normalize the conversation on health issues and break down self, cultural and societal stigma.
All attendees will receive tickets to the Toronto Wolfpacks rugby team. We will have prizes and giveaways during the two day event.
Opening Ceremonies will be at 10:30 both days! On Saturday, we will announce the recipients of our first ever YMHC Hero Awards.
You can support access to the Fair for camp groups who need busing by donating at www.ymhc.ngo or through PayPal (YMHC Charitable Foundation).
We are also looking for donations of food and beverages for Friday, craft materials for DIY workshops, prizes, products for the Back to School Mental Wellness Backpacks/bags including backpacks or bags.
We will be launching our youth mental wellness resources and tools at the Fair. If you would like to support the printing of resources to ensure that the tools for wellness are in the hands of those who need them, please send an email to [email protected] or donate.
