Wilket Creek Ravine Sketching Tour

September 15, 2019 | 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT

LUNA Toronto and Toronto Botanical Garden (TBG) are excited to offer a new series of Ravine Sketching Tours.

These free tours run on select Sundays from 1 to 2 p.m., from June to September in the Wilket Creek Ravine. LUNA Toronto artists will guide participants through the ravine and help them sketch the natural wonders found there.

Participants should meet inside TBG’s lobby by the Garden Shop, and should bring the following items: sun protection, snacks and a drink, and a small folding stool (optional). Paper and pencils will be provided.

Registration is strongly recommended to reserve a spot and to receive important communications. Walk-ins will be allowed only if the maximum number of participants (12) has not been reached ahead of time. In the advent of bad weather, tours will be cancelled, and registrants will be informed via email. Please note that these tours are for adults, not children.

About the League of Urban Nature Artists (LUNA):

This is a new volunteer art collective based in Toronto, initiated by nature artist Alan Li. Group members are local artists who share a common belief that creativity can help solve environmental problems. LUNA works with grassroots non-profit organizations on community projects that make a positive difference.

This is one of a series of tours. You can register for one or more through Eventbrite.
