Understanding Mental Health: An Introduction

According to the Canadian Mental Health Association, 1 in 5 Canadians will personally experience a mental health problem or illness. This means we likely all know someone who will struggle will mental health or will experience it ourselves.
Join us as mental health nurse, Linda Liu (RN) provides a practical introduction to understanding mental health. Linda Liu is a registered nurse at the University Health Network’s General Psychiatry and Multi-organ Transplant programs as well as a clinical instructor for the University of Toronto BScN program. Linda‘s research interests include the use or trauma-informed interventions and curriculum development related to violence against women and children.
