Join dancers trained in Indian classical dance styles, and artists of all disciplines at all stages of their career, for a weekend of stimulating conversations, and joyous, surprising collaborations.
The Deep End Weekend takes place over two days:
Saturday, September 14, 11 am – 4 pm. A Day in the Life: Leading Canadian artists speak personally about a day in the life of their practice. Registration begins at 10am.
Sunday, September 15, 10 am – 6 pm, performance 7 pm. A Season in a Day (based on an original concept by Gerald Trentham and pounds per square inch): A playful experiment in collaboration with dancers, choreographers, actors, directors, playwrights, poets and musicians, performed before an audience – the very same evening!
The Deep End Weekend is an invitation to consider your artistic practice as contemporary – expressive, versatile, mischievous – and revelatory. Dive in!
