Surviving the Holiday Season!

Do the holidays cause you to experience stress? Are you worried about who you will have to see over the holidays or everything that you have to do? Perhaps you are feeling more alone because you have no family around you. The holidays can be a time of stress, anxiety and sadness. The holidays can cause a range of emotions for individuals. It can be a time of worries about money. It may be a time of sadness because of a loved one not being around. The holidays can also mean more alcohol which can be difficult to be around. This workshop is designed to help you learn how to cope with the holidays in an effective manner so that they can be an enjoyable time rather than a time of stress, anxiety and sadness.

Natasha Saini is a Certified Clinical Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
Denise Wallis graduated in 2010 from the University of Toronto with her Masters in Social Work.
