Shut Up and Write! *Multiple dates

Are you having trouble with finding the time and motivation to write? Shut Up and Write is a chance for academic writers exclusively within the UofT community to write productively in a communal setting. Undergraduates, graduates, and doctoral students are all welcome to attend the weekly Thursday 10AM-12PM drop-in sessions that will begin on January 17th, 2019 and run until May 30th, 2019 in Gerstein’s Alice Moulton Room. The sessions will follow the Pomodoro technique where there will be a sequence of short sprints of writing with a few breaks in between. There is no cost for attending.
Bring your work (laptop or paper) and we’ll help you with your productivity! Snacks & cider will also be provided.
The breakdown for the writing session is as follows:
10AM: come in, get treats, set up writing station, intros & writing goals for the session
10:15: start writing (25mins)
10:40: break!
10:45: resume writing (25mins)
11:10: break!
11:15: resume writing (25mins)
11:40: break & social
12PM: end
