Ivor Williams Keynote: Death and Dying Discussions

January 24, 2019 | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Ivor Williams is a designer, developing new ways of thinking about and experiencing death and dying in the 21st century. Working across research, development, and commercial delivery, Williams leads the end-of-life care projects at the Helix Centre, an innovation design lab inside the Institute for Global Health led by Lord Ara Darzi and St Mary’s Hospital in London. Attend Williams keynote on Thursday evening to learn about his research and design practice of reshaping the death and dying experience in the 21st century.

Williams’ keynote serves to start Death and Dying Discussions, a one-day mini-symposium on design for end of life running in conjunction with DesignTO (Toronto Design Offsite Festival, January 18-27). To register for this event or for more information, please see OCADU’s website.
