Have you ever been through a bad breakup where you hated the world AND yourself?
This film explores what that’s like. It’s an anti-romantic comedy by Toronto’s very own mathematician turned filmmaker Curt Jaimungal. If you’re expecting a v-day rom com with mental health fluff as filler, this event is not for you.
We’re going to watch the film, talk about mental health, and think about what we as Torontonians need to do to support each other and do better.

Curt Jaimungal: Filmmaker. Entrepreneur. And motivational coach.
Sakina Rizvi, PhD: Scientist at Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute ASR Suicide and Depression Studies Unit at St. Michael’s Hospital and an assistant professor of psychiatry.
Scott Ste Marie: Scott is a Mental Health Advocate and Founder of Depression to Expression. He has been sharing his story of depression and anxiety for over 5 years and teaches others to feel confident in their self-expression.
And moderated by:
Cristina Jaimungal: A PhD student in the Department of Social Justice Education and the University of Toronto Graduate Students’ Union (UTGSU) External Commissioner.
