Guided Laughter and Meditation

June 3, 2019 | 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

Experience how Laughter Yoga (aka Guided Laughter) and Guided Meditation can bring physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being in a short period of time. No physical yoga involved, only conscious play and experiential exercises such as laughter, meditation, gentle movement, and deep breathing.

Lauren’s sessions combine laughter, breath, movement, creative visualization, mindfulness, and meditation/relaxation. The group has fun playing with wellness techniques as a community. Following the session, each individual can choose to incorporate the practiced techniques into his/her/their daily life. Participants have expressed feeling happier, healthier, and filled with a sense of peace, well-being, and renewed energy.

In addition to being an attorney, Lauren is a Meditation & Reiki teacher, a Certified Consulting Hypnotist, a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader, a Certified Zumba instructor, and a CanFitPro Certified Fitness Instructor Specialist. Lauren also has training in theatre, dance, voice, public speaking, and qigong.

Lauren has always been fascinated with the mind, body, spirit connection and believes in everyone’s innate ability to feel good. Lauren has a passion for teaching creative tools and techniques that individuals can apply to access the power/happiness/peace/well-being that reside within each of us.

Program hosted by the Business, Science & Technology department.
